What makes the Bedrock Creations Countertop System Unique?

Q. What colors are available?
We currently have 14 colors in a variety of Edge Styles and price points ready for immediate delivery, typically a week or less.    
Q. How many edge styles do you have?
Kitchen in a BOXTM - 3 edge styles: Bullnose, OGEE & Beveled. 
Granite Edge SolutionsTM - 2 edge styles: Bullnose & Cigar Roll.  
 
Q. Can we use an Under Mount Sink?
We manufacture the only Modular Granite System with a Color Matched Under Mount Sink Kit that provides a beautiful, thick transition to the top of the sink. .  
Q. Can this system be installed over laminate?
We recommend that a cement backerboard first be installed to give the granite a good bonding surface.  
Q. Can Bedrock be installed over thick or thin substrates?
Yes, the same edge has a unique flexible design with a Detachable Skirt enabling it to be installed over 1 1/8” substrates or 2” substrates or anything in between.  
Q. Do you have outside and inside corners?
Our outside corners are a solid piece, and our inside corners can be mitered by you or we will do it free of charge.  
Q. Do all the components match in color?
We manufacture all components from the same raw block of granite and color code all components.  
Q. How do I make a short 4” or 6’ backsplash?
We have a quarter round trim piece which is self aligning and caps off the exposed edge of the granite tile resulting in a luxurious ¾” thick looking backsplash.  
Q. How do I get a Kitchen in a BOXTM or a Bath in a BOXTM ?
We are actively adding Resellers throughout the country. When we do not have a Reseller in your area we can ship to your door for only $95 flat rate shipping.

Q. Can I get samples?
We have a simple and inexpensive sample program.  You will have your samples anywhere in the country in typically 1 to 3 days.  
Q. Can I butt join the edges of the tiles together?
All of our components are precision manufactured, which means all components can be butt joined together for a precision fit. All tiles and edges have a slight chamfer resulting in a minute grout line of about 1/16” which is typically filled with a matching or complimentary non-sanded grout.  
Q. What do I use to glue down the granite?
Use a good quality modified thinset for Marble and Stone.  
Q. What type of grout do I use?
Because the grout line is so minimal, use a Non-Sanded grout.  
Q. Can I install myself?
The Bedrock system is the easiest and most flexible system in the world to install. DIYers, Weekend Warriors, Tile Setters, and Contractors have all enjoyed the results and ease of our tested, tried and true system.  

It’s based on 4 basic components:

(1) 12”x12” Tiles,
(2) 2”x12” Edges,
(3) Outside Corners
(4) Quarter Rounds used for Under Mount Sinks and Short Backsplashes.
 
Q. Is it easy to figure what I need for my countertop or project?
Because the bedrock system is based on 4 Basic components, it is easy to calculate how much material is needed thus minimizing waste. We also have a helpful measuring guide.  
Q. How much does it cost?
The Bedrock Creations Kitchen in a BOXTM and Bath in a BOXTM  Kits are the best value for a granite countertop anywhere. Our kits can be tailored to your individual project for about 1/3 the cost of an Installed Slab

Our Ogee and Bullnose edges are a solid non-laminated piece of granite. This is unique to Bedrock Creations because we have no unsightly seam and you have no concerns about de-lamination.
 
Our Edges have a DETACHABLE SKIRT, meaning our edges can be installed over thick (2 inch) or thin (1 3/8 inch) substrates. Perfect for kitchens with full face or non- full face cabinets, Bars, Overhanging Countertops requiring a strong and thick substrate, Bathroom Countertops, Tub Surrounds, Fireplaces, BBQ’s, Steps, etc.
 
Bedrock Creations is the Most Flexible System on the market; tiles can be installed in a pattern. Common designs are straight where the seams line up, Diagonal tiles in the interior, Brick or offset pattern.

Edges and Interior tiles can be contrasted. The Bedrock Creations system allows for your creativity to flow. For example, you can border a countertop with one color and install interior tiles in another color or material, thus creating contrast.
